I made this summer WWI dress ( circa 1913-16) 2 years ago and wore it only a few times. - would be nice if it could be useful to anyone!
*superb light cotton lawn fabric with amazing embroidery
* the dress consists of 2 parts, a skirt ( waist closes at 27" with a dress hook and snap - easy to move and adapt either side, especially since the opening is hidden under the jacket... ) length 41". the jacket has a loosely fitted front bodice, with the embroidery, closing with snaps - and a loose body that can be either worn crossed over, or open.
Belt not included ( lost it somewhere - if i find it will send on!) but it is easy just to use a wide ribbon in a colour of your choice. for the time being, including a doublesided brown velvet ribbon.
Needs to be worn on a long line corset of the era, and a petticoat (not included) as the skirt is quite sheer.
