Late Victorian petticoat with a voluminous flounces were popular during the 1890 period and are essential for 1890 silhouette. The sleek upper part and the volume at the hem provided the typical bell shape to the skirts of the period - fitted at the waist and hips, voluminous at the hem ( Ripple skirt etc)

* Hem flounce - or two - with a ruffled broderie anglaise lace
This one is made to measure, in a fabric, style and decoration of your choice. Delivery time is approximately 2 - 3 weeks
Please provide the following measurements:
1. waist circumference, measured on your corset
2. length - from the waist to the hafl calf
Finish styles description:
traditional - machine is used throughout, as suitable for the era
modern - overlocker ( serger) is used on the edges, for a fast and secure finish.
Fabric choices - all period correct, all machine washable
Cotton sheeting - light, white and durable ( shown on the picture)
Cotton cambric - stiffer than sheeting, with a gloss, comes in off white/ ivory. Durable, sturdy but light and lovely to touch - my favourite for a historical petticoat!
Cotton organdy - very light, very stiff, and creating a lot of volume!
Decoration - standard option is one ruffle with lace if you would like more than one, please contact us prior to ordering!
