Pocket hoops incotton

 An essential item for many a style, especially in the second half of the 18th century!

They create the fashionable silhouette, with wide hips - worn with sack gowns (robe francaise), as well as with a variety of jackets.

 Being closed at the bottom means they actually act as pockets too - quite voluminous ones!

* boned with artificial whalebone, 11mm wide-  light and durable, wont break like cane might - but can be easily replaced by cane if needed ( for very heavy skirts)
