Curl your hair and puff-up your sleeves, Romantic era fashion is coming to Moggerhanger Park!
This is a small semi-private event with a STRICT dress code and on an Invitation/ Application basis only. Limitted number of 40 tickets only.
Adults only, please.
If you would like to attend, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief introduction and a few pictures showing your attire ( it is understood that you may need to make/purchase stuff for the ball and dont have any 30s stuff yet - that is not a problem, a photo of Regency or Victorian fashion will do, on understanding that your Romantic stuff will be of the same quality )
Please do not purchase if you haven’t been in touch with me beforehand!
This event is a soiree with dancing - with a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere than a formal ball.

We will have several rooms at our disposal – The Gold ballroom for dancing, 2 rooms for cards, buffet, etc, as well as the Library for a quiet place to rest and gossip. There is a reception for photos and also a bar.
The rooms are located on the first and second floors of the main house and in an adjacent building (ground floor). There are double/ twin bedrooms, all individually styled, en suite.
The price is based on 2 sharing – a supplement will apply if you want single occupancy!
If you are sharing with a friend who is buying tickets separately, please let us know the name.
If there is only you and you are happy to share, purchase the single supplement to start with - and when you find a sharer, the supplement will be refunded.

A selection of desserts.
Paid bar will be available on the night
1820-38 please. The focus is on the 30s, but old fashioned, late Regency will also be considered; a high level of historical accuracy is the aim for this event, if in doubt, drop me a line!
Formal attire (evening and ball outfits) preferred, but since the soiree is not as formal as a ball, posh day gear is acceptable as well.
Dance workshop - day attire ( modern can be acceptable, but historical preferred)
For those who want it, breakfast in banyans, dressing robes and morning wear!
The rooms are also available on the night before, and some of us are staying there so that we can have some more ‘30s fun during the day – picnic, croquet on the lawn, a pyjama party and relaxed evening; we will have access to the library, etc, downstairs.
If interested, please book directly from the venue, quoting prior attire !
