This is a rare find - I have been lucky to secure a few lots of chemises that used to belong to 2 parisian ladies that lived in the mid to late 19th century in "Rue du Petit Musc". :-)
They are in used condition - but very much usable. There are minor signs of wear at the seams, some discolouration etc - but they are all sturdy and will withstand much more use without any problems. I bought a few a year back for my own use and it is a pleasure to wear, and machine washable.
These ones are made in densly woven cotton and sport dainly cotton lace decoration around the neck and sleeves.
Made by machine and handstitching - the stitching around the hems etc is truly exquisite.
the last one left- this one has a tiny hole at the back
