A late medieval dress suitable for re-creating an highest status noble lady from the second half of the 15th century.
This style is reversible - it can be worn on the patterned side, or on the blue one - 2 different gowns for the price of 1! not exactly an authentic technique, but a welcome option for a modern reenactor with a limited budget.
Stunning silk/metallic brocade from Sudbury silk mills. It was discounted ( there are slight faults in the fabric - see the photos) from £155 to £45 per metre and I have used 8 metres for this gown.
Lined in blue silk
V collar in front, and back, depending on the wearer and the style required, can be worn off the shoulders or pinned to the kirtle.

Easily adjusted to the size with a belt.
