Medieval dress, Burgundian, 15th Century

 A late medieval dress suitable for re-creating a high status lady/wealthy merchant's wife etc from  the second half  of the 15th century.  

 This one is reversible too - wear it on the blue/ silver damask side  for posher do, or on the pale pink  for a different look - 2 gowns in one!

 Features:

• Stunning silk/wool brocade  from  Sudbury silk mills  It was discounted from £85 to £45 per metre and I have used over 7 metres for this gown.

• Lined in  silk taffera in a stunning pearly rose shade

•  handstitch finish

• V collar in front, and back, depending on the wearer and  the style required, can be worn off the shoulders or pinned  to the kirtle

• voluminous, with a very short train ( depending on your hight!, so practical too.

• Size 12 -18, chest up to 43" (110cm), length in front 56" ( 143cm). 
•  sleeves - biceps 17." (43cm)
• Easily adjusted to the size with a belt.
