 A medieval dress suitable for re-creating an upper status lady from 12th or 13th century - ideal for Magna Carta events.  

 This style is usually worn over a linen, wool or silk underdress.

 Worn for a photoshoot and on horseback, the price is discounted to reflect that.

Features:

* exceptional quality, tightly woven medium thickness wool in beautiful shade of teal

*neck, hem and cuffs decorated with a band of expensive  brocaded silk, matching belt included

* sleeves lined in silk

* no machine stitching visible - inside seams couched by hand with a linen thread

*lacing eyelets worked by hand with linen thread

Measurements

The dress lases at the sides with handplaited laces - it will accommodate a variety of medium sizes. When fully laced it closes at:

*chest -  39" (99cm), waist  32" (82cm)

here shown on a 5'7" (169cm) model size 12,  small train at the back

 

 * veil and the kirtle underneath not included
