A strikingerapper in a rare silk stripe. wrappers were unfitted, flared domestic garment - something less formal you could wear in the house, garden, and to receive guests in a more relaxed atmosphere, lounging in the study, sipping port and smoking a pipe. Banyans are a bit more fitted, but either can be worn depending on personal preferences
This particular one was ideally designed for a man - but as you can see a lass can nick her husbands stuff too :-))
