15th century short robe

 An essential item in every medieval man's wardrobe!

This loose , voluminous robe is worn over a doublet - and this one is a showstopping golden yellow damask with a period correct pattern. a special occassion garment for sure!

The fabirc is a very rare and  usually expensive - i was lucky to get some much cheaper  as a bargain!

 Features:

*silk damask,

* lined with silk

*shoulder ploosely pleated - can be easily undone and repleated to the new wearer's satisfaction

*closes with  brass hooks and eyes

*pleats under the belt, most sized will fit - though this model woudl work partucualry well for a gentleman with a fuller posture ( the front is longer). This can be easily remedied.

Measurements

generic size -  here shown on a size 46 chest,  a pretty good fit at the chest, though would look better on  chap with a more impressive  girth! ;-)
