Medieval dress, Burgundian, 15th Century

  A real showstopper!

An extremely posh late medieval dress suitable for re-creating a high status noble lady from  the second half  of the 15th century.  

 The  fabirc is a true bargain -  Bellini silk damask, it currently retails at £240 per metre - i got it somehow cheaper!

  The gown has been worn for a photoshoot outdoors, there are faint markings at the hem - easy to brush/ spot clean. The price has been reduced to reflect that

 Features:

• Absolutely breathtaking blue silk damask with a big pattern perfect for the era. 7m of the damask has been used

• Lined in lower quality blue lightweight silk,  collar, cuffs and hem in white silk

• handstitch finish - hem bound in the silk too

• V collar in front, flap on the back - making sure the gown sits securely on the shpulders - no need to pin

• voluminous, with a train

• Size 10 -16, chest up to 42" (104cm),  back width at shouder blades - 15" (38cm)
• length in front 58" ( 147cm) - 
• sleeves - biceps 15." (39cm)
• Easily adjusted to the size with a belt.

• Here shown on a model size 12 ( 5'7", 168cm tall)
