A  Silk Damask burgundian dress

An very elegant late medieval dress suitable for re-creating a high status noble lady from  the second half  of the 15th century.  

 This one is reversible too - wear it on the green damask side  for a formal celebratory occassions, or on the pink side for a more informal look - 2 gowns in one!

 Features:

• a stunning, light chatalaine silk damask from the Sudbury  silk mills  -  7 metres were used for this gown.

• Lined in pink silk taffeta
• hem enclosed with the taffeta  guard, easy to replace when worn out

• handstitch finish

• V collar in front, and back, depending on the wearer and  the style required, can be worn off the shoulders or pinned to the kirtle underneath

• voluminous, with a  train 

• Size 8 -14

• chest up to 43" (109cm), length in front 58" ( 147cm). 
•  sleeves - biceps 16." (41cm), cuff 9"(23cm)

• Easily adjusted to the size with a belt.
• Here shown on a  busty model size 12
