Medieval dress, Burgundian, 15th Century

  A real jewel of a gown!

An very posh late medieval dress suitable for re-creating a high status noble lady from  the second half  of the 15th century.  

 Features:

• a trully lovely silk damask  with a big pattern perfect for the era. It was discounted  from a rather hefty price due to some  faults in the fabrics, but it still cost me over £50 per metre and I have used over 8 metres for this gown.

• Lined in silk, the cuffs and collar in silk velvet, black.

•  the hem guarded with black satin

• handstitch finish

• V collar in front, and back, depending on the wearer and  the style required, can be worn off the shoulders or pinned  to the kirtle

• voluminous, with a  train 

• Size 14 -22, chest up to 55" (139cm), length in front 59" ( 150cm). 
• sleeves - biceps 17." (43cm), erist 11" (28cm)
• Easily adjusted to the size with a belt.
• Here shown on a model size 12, a tad too big

 Belt , undergarments and headdress are not included!
