Romantic era evening dress size 12-14

Romantic era evening gown,  1828-38

 It needs to be worn over a period correct corset (a corded one would be best, but a standard, generic victorian one will work as well!) and a combination of a corded and standard petticoats - either can be ordered separately on the site. 

 The dress was uised once for a couple of hours, the prioce is reduced

 Features:

*made in stunning moire silk, very rare,

*bodice is  lined with cotton - the pleeated sleeves are lined with cotton organdy, very stiff, so that the sleeves stay  relatively puffed without any additional support, though additional supports can be used.

* bodice closing at the back with a hook and eyelet combination - can be adapted to size

* skirt pleated tthe bodice

 *separate ribbon belt with an antique buckle- can be adapted to size too.  

 *bodice features a pleated bertha in front and is piped at the neck and sleeves, the skirt has a  vintage ribbon zig zag decoration with bows

*  adds on -  decorative bretelles in silk moire with cotton lace  (separate elements,  here pinned togehter with brooches, but can be stirched on), and silk organza oversleeves; big  beret headdress

 bodice: chest closes at 40" (102cm), waist at 31" (78cm), armpit to waist 8" (20cm)

The hooks can be moved ( they are mounted on a tape)  and another set of eyelets can be worked  for a smalle/bigger size.

 Will look best on  corseted size 12-14,
