Late Victorian petticoat/underskirt

  A rare find!

Late Victorian petticoat/ underskirt  with a delightful decoration! This style was popular during the 1890 - 1900 period and are essential for 1890 silhouette.

 The petticoat  is antique, new old stock - buit is a very good condition, there is hardly any sight of wear at all.

 Features:

 *Light and durable rare  silk  moire ( watered silk) fabric

*  Hem decoration with pleated tabs and embroidered naval motifs, there is also one big pintun that can be unpicked if longer skirt is required

*  hanging loops

* hem protected by a velvet facing

 * waist fitted with darts

* closing with drawstrings at waist one one button at hip

 Measurements:

 waist 29" (74cm)  with drawstring ungathered

 upper hip 42" (107cm)

 length 35" (90cm)
