Late Victorian petticoat/underskirt

  A rare find!

Late Victorian petticoat/ underskirt  in silk moire! This style was popular during the 1890 - 1900 period and are essential for 1890 silhouette.

 The petticoat  is antique, new old stock - buit is a very good condition, there is hardly any sight of wear at all.

 Features:

 *Light and durable rare silk moire ( watered silk) fabric

*  Hem decoration with pleated flounce, as well as narrow tucks on a bias section.

*  hanging loops

 * waist fitted with darts in front, drawsgtring back, enabling regulation

* closing at the hip - the button is missing

 Measurements:

 waist 36" (92cm)  with drawstring ungathered

 length 42" (107cm)
