Making a 1850s corded corset - recording

Welcome to our online class!

 This is the second of a series, still offfered at a  slightly discounted rate as I am still  'testing the waters' (format and set up, etc), but if all goes to plan there will be quite a few of these coming out in 2024.

 The live classes will focus on demonsttrating the techniques of making and assembling a corded corset suitable for 1850-60s fashions.  

 You will be able to ask questions on the chat during the course, and I will be pausing to check them regularly. There will also be time to ask more questions at the end of the session.

 This is not a "sew along" session -  you don't need to purchase any materials to participate in the class, and you don't need to do any sewing at all during the live session (unless you want to have a little project in the background to work on as you watch - I know I usually do!). 

 The class will be recorded and a link to the recorded session will be sent after the session - so you can access it at any time convenient to you and pause and play for your own private sew-along. The link to the class will be sent on Fruday before the Saturday class.

 Pattern -  I will be working with an original pattern from Atelier Sylphe Corsets collection - and all participants of the class will be given a 15% off discount code to use in their Etsy shop! 

If you purchase the class but cannot attend, the link with the recording will still be sent out to you to watch at your leisure.

 The recorded link will be accessible within a year from the date of the online class.

The busk insertion and the eyelet insertion is covered in more detail in the  other class, running a week earlier- so these will be just a short recap so that we can concentrate on the more complex technical aspects of cording and 2 layer corsetry
