Great coat in broadcloth

  A great opportunity to acquire this garment - as I am working on developing patterns and perfecting cut etc of garments fro ther Dandy Throughout the Ages book,  I invartiably end up with several learning pieces.  usually this item woudl by much pricier, but as a learning piece is offered at a bargain price!

 This greatcoat is suitable fro the 1780-1830 styles

Features:

*  great quality, non fraying broadcloth, warm and waterproof

* single breasted, with fold over collar

* partially lined with glazed cotton in light green - sleeves and body of the coat

* 2 deep pockets at the rear, one inside breast pocket

* hand finished collar and lining insertion

 * 3 capes

* buttons on the cuffs and at the vents ( easy to exchange for different ones)

Measurements

 The coat would fit a more slender dandy - here worn on a  gent with 45" chest, but witout a jacket undernerath - ideally you would  need a bit more space inside.

length 53" (135cm)

 back width 15" (38cm)

sleeve length 27" (69cm) - the cuff can be folded fhallower if longer  fit is required
