1790-1800 silk bodice and head wrap

 This stylish bodice, typical of 1790s-1800 fashion  was worn over round gowns mostly - for an additional splash of colour as well as warmth.

 The cut and contruction of this item will be presented in the Regency and Romantic Dressmaker book, but in the  meantime the item itslf is up for grabs!

 Features:

* made in quality silk taffeta, with linen lining, 

 * cross over top, so easy to size up or down as needed - it would be worn with the transitional or early regency stays.

* separate sleeves - they are basted into the bodice for the shoot and then were removed -  so can be added in or out with basic stitching as need arrises.

*the bodice can be additionally decorated with braids or lace as desired.

*sizing - the fronts overlap and would be pinned in place, but can also be fixed wth hooks and bars or ties.

 Would best look on a uk size 12-16, here seen on a size 12/14 , with 34F bra size.

 back width across the shoulder blades - 13"  (34cm)

Total measurements across the lower part including the overlap, 50" (128cm)

 sleeves -  elbow 13" ( 35cm) biceps 14.5" ( 37cm), total length 26.5" (67cm)
