Women's carrick coat

  A great opportunity to acquire this garment - just had enough of that lovely posjh Melton wool to somehow cut out a full coat!

 Perfect for Regency/ Naopleonin events  in colder weather!

 This carrick is  based on  Regency fashion plates and an extant carrick (1818)   and can be paired with dresses from the 1800-1830s.

Features:

*  great quality, non fraying broadcloth, warm and waterproof

* double breasted, wiht a good overlap that can be adjusted to size - the buttons and tabs can be moved

* sleeves and collar lined with silk 

* 2 deep pockets at the rear

 *2 proper capes, 1 faux cape ( a very period solution!)

* vintage covered  buttons 

Measurements

 chest: 44" (114cm)

length 51" (130cm) - can be easily cut shorter!

 back width 16" (40cm)

Belt length for underbust = 38" (96cm) ( a bit short, as this is as much fabric I had left - can be exchanged for a longer one in velvet ribbon etc, if needs be)
