15th century doublet in damask

  An essential item in every medieval man's wardrobe!

 This model, with padded upper sleeve (Gippon à mahoitres' style), provided the fashionable silhouette in the second half of the 15th century - wide shoulders and narrow waist. The fabirc is a rare and expensive silk/wool  damask from Sudbury silk mills.

This usually retails at £280 per metre, I got lucky to get some as a bargain!

 Features:

* superb. royal silk with suitable woven pattern

* lined throughout with medium weight  herringbone linen

* shoulder padding filled with light filling

* the eyelets are worked by hand with waxed  linen thread

 Options - 

* choose whether yoyu'd like the blue silk points - I have 8 available

* sleeve cuff is fashionably narrow, please make sure you you measure if you can get your hand through - you can request the sleeve to be opened, with a set of eyelets for points - easier to get on and off and still fashionably tigjht, just with dangling lace :-)

Sleeve length 26" (66cm), biceps 20" (50cm) , wrist 9" (22cm) - can be opened up
