1868-70s crinolette

  A crinolette is an absolute must for the  transitional and early first bustle period era - it  provided skirt support and created that iconic silhouette with a beautifully rounded posterior, gently sloping froint and volume at the hem - ideal to display the fabrics and elaborate drapery of the early bustle dresses.

  Not made by me, used twice

 Features:

 *made in strong steel wire covered with cotton tape

*   cotton cambric panel at the back to prevent swining to the front

* cotton tape ties allow for regulation - can be tied in front, or, to avoid bulk, at the side or crossed over and tie in the back.

*light, bouncy and providing a perfect support without bulk - iodeal for dancing
