 This late 1890s dress set is a perfect combination for a walk or promenade. doing errants or meeting a friend for a chocolate or tea in a cafe....

Made for the Victorian Dressmaker vol1 book, lightly used - discounted price!

 Features

 * A  cotton in fashionable pattern, vintage fabric, rare nowaways!

* the short bodice is  lined throughout in silk,  and sports a typical fin de siecle decoration with a braid

*  the bodice closes in front with an overlap - with hooks and bars - these can be easily moved in or out  to accommodate both smaller and bigger size - and  it can be worn in a variety of ways

* the skirt is  fully lined with glazed cotton,  and is decorated with the same with braid

*  the waistband is reinforced, closing with hooks and bars.

 a separate stiff belt in silk is included 

 a matching hat from Farthibngale Historical Hats also included

*  machine finish inside.

 Measurements:

 The bodice is  currently closes at chest 40" (101cm), high waist 28" (71cm).

 this can be changed, - the overlaping  fronts are 17" ( 43cm) each, so there is space!

Back width 14" (36cm), back length 15" (38cm)

biceps circumference 13" (34cm), sleeve length 23" (58cm)

skirt : waist currently set at: 28" (71cm); length, from waistband down) -  41"(104cm).
