Women's carrick coat

  A great opportunity to acquire this garment - just had enough of that lovely posh Melton wool to somehow cut out a full coat!

 Ample enough to put a long sleeved dress underneath

 Perfect for Regency/ Naopleonic events in colder weather!

 This carrick is  based on  Regency fashion plates and an extant carrick (1818)   and can be paired with dresses from the 1800-1825s.

Features:

*  great quality, non fraying wool melton, warm and waterproof

* double breasted, wiht a good overlap that can be adjusted to size - the buttons  can be moved

* sleeves and collar lined with silk taffeta

 *2 proper capes,

* velvet covered  buttons 

* matching belt ( buttons can be moved here too), lightly attatched at the back - can be moved up or down as needed.  

Measurements

 chest: up to 52" (128cm), designed to be worn gathered by the belt

 length 55" (140cm) - can be easily cut shorter and it does not requre hemming!

 biceps width 14" (36cm)

 belt length - 36" ( 192cm) - buttons can be adjusted to fit
