15th century sleeveless pourpoint in damask

  A posh, lightweight pourpoint in silk damask

 This was made for a client  quite a few years ago - but half way though he changed his mind  and went for a different fabric.  I have finished this off anyway, put it aside - and forgot abput till until i found it again recently!

 I do hope it can find a good new home.

 Features:

* superb silk with suitable woven pattern

* lined throughout with plain silk 

* the eyelets are worked by hand

The doublet closes ( though can be worn open too)

at the chest 54"(137cm),

waist 47" (119cm),

back width ( between the shoulder blades) 19" (48cm)

side length, armpit to waist 11" (28cm)
