Burgundian gown in posh fabric

A real showstopper burgundian gown!

This is my own  gown - sadly I dont do many medieval events, plus my forearms feel suspeciously tight on it, so it is time the dress had a better, more active life... 

Made out of very rare, very expansive silk cotton blend fabirc - the Memlinc brocade, currently retailing at £250 per metre! 8 metres went into this gown

Ideal for recreating a highest status lady from the second half of the 15th century.

 Used on a few occassions, including prestigious Tower of London tournament etc. there are slight signs of wear around the hem, nothing major

 Features:

* made in spectacular fabric, a replica of a historical pattern

* lined throughout with gold silk taffeta, light and luminous

* turn back cuffs in silk velvet

* collar with the iconic back flap, in silk velvet

 * long train

* Every single seam has been HANDSTITCHED

* hem guarded by the same silk velvet

 Measurements -

chest up to 40" (102cm),

front length 57" (145cm),

biceps circumference - 12" (36cm), 

Would look best on 8-12 uk size, but please measure carefully! 

 Here worn on a size 12, 5'7" ( 169cm) tall - a good fit.
