MId Victorian skirt in silk

  A greal skirt in a lovely and rare  vintage green silk taffeta, with a woven plaid/check pattern.

  Perfect for late 40s to late 60s, ideal to wear with just a cotton blouse, garibaldi one maybe?- and easy to accessorise with a matching bolero jacket, a swiss waist or  just a belt.

 It will need to be work over corsed/ horse hair petticoats plus regular petticoats, well starched - or a small cronoline hoop.

 Ideal for a garden party, picnic or a seaside.
