Regency gown (1814-1822) – in period correct light checked silk taffeta, the bodice section lined with very fine silk.

 Features:

 *Drawstrings at the neck regulate the bust fit.

* Lovely light weight silk with a slightly stiff drape

*ruffles at the hem of the skirt

*decoration in vintage braid on the ruffles

* fabric covered buttons at the back

*  short sleeves 

* modern finish inside

* underbust  34" (86cm)

* back width 16" (40cm)

* chest - generous, regulated by a drawstring

* total length of skirt in front, from the waistband down is 45" (117cm)

* complete gown length in front 59" (150cm)

* short sleeve cuff 16" (40cm)

 Will look best on  UK size 10-14 , here shown on a model size12( UK), height 169cm ( 5'7"),  good fit!
