Regency short stays corset

 Regency stays, short line with cups.

This style was fashionable from roughly 1800 - 1820, giving a smooth torso and high breasts - perfect for the empire line styles. 

The stays comes up to mid bust providing the support from below, and the breasts are contained by the chemise.

 This is ourupgraded version - double layer and with embroidery.

 Main features:

 *made in strong corsetry fabric - cotton coutil on the inside and soft cotton twill on the outside

*   cotton lacing at the back with custom dyed laces

* metal eyelets 

* metal busk bones in front 

* boned with steel boning

 *modern finish - machine, overlocker

* easy to reposition the shoulder straps

* bust size regulated with ties

Measurements:

underbust 36"  (92cm),

bust 44" (112cm)" ( can be made smaller with the drawstring)

lower hem  34" (86cm)

Best suited  to  busty size 14-16,  and can be worn with the 2-3 inches gap at the back, so there is some room  to adjust sizing.  Your measurements should be at least 1-2 inch bigger that the measurements of the stays. here worn on size 12-14, too big!

bone flossing -  not as common in Regency as in Victorian era, but existed and prolonged the life of the corset!
