Romantic era, 1820S set- blouse and skirt

 A fetching 1820 attire I hastily made for a friend for an event.

 It needs to be worn over a period correct corset ( a corded one would be best, but a standard, generic victorian one will work as well!) and a combination of a corded and standard petticoats - either can be ordered separately on the site. 

 It has been worn for one day, including a wlak in the very wet forest -  so there is some marking on the  hem, mostly inside - this can be washed or hem can be guarded with another fabric - not visible as the flounces cover it

 Features:

* Blouse made in which cotton  ( was washed after use), with decorative pleats.

* closing at the back with vintage dorset buttons

* slightly puffy sleeves, with a long cuff - easy to adapt to size.

 *lined ion cotron

* bottom hem overlocled, not finished.

 Skirt

 * made in lovely  plaid silk, vely light

  * lined in cotton

* 2 rows of bias ruffles

 * seams  inside not finished.

* closing with a hook and bar combination.

 accessorties, belts,necktie etc not included

 blouse: chest closes at 40" (101cm), waist  loosely fitted around at 33" (78cm),

 back width 14" (35.5cm)

 Will look best on corseted size 12 here shown on a model size 12  and 14
