Victorian corset 25"

This type of corset is essential in creating the curvy silhouette, typical of the Victorian era. It  provides the bust support, creates the small waist/rounded hip profile, and forms the basis for all kinds of Victorian attire across the social strata.

All our bodices are cut to fit the silhouette created by a corseted body.

 This corset was made during one of our zoom classes and is offered at a discounted price as a ex demo item.

 the pictures showe only half of thre corset being flossed - but the corset will arrive with both sides flossed ( simply forgot  that i was taking photos before finishing...)

* interior channels in strong cotton twill tape

Measurements - the corset closes at:

bust - 34" (84cm)

Waist - 25" (63cm)

hip - 34" (87cm)

side length ( armpit edge to waist) 6.5" (16cm)

Would best suit a  size 8-10, with a natural waist of 27 -29", chest 36-38", hip 35-37" .

All our Victorian corsets have the standard 2 inches waist reduction built in – the reduction will vary from person to person depending on the lady’s built and body type. Please measure carefully – your actual waist measurement should be at least 3 inches more than the waist measurement of the corset.

 The corset doesn't need to close - a gap at the back is perfectly  normal, allowing a greater range of sizes to be worn.

 The hip should not be too tight - best measure  yours when sitting. A corset with a hip fitting very snuggly when standing, can be uncomfortable to sit in!
