Regency day dress cotton size 10-16

Regency gown (1800-1820) – in period correct light checked silk taffeta, the bodice section lined with very cotton lawn.

This style has detachable sleeves ( also lined wiht lawn) and can be easily transformned fromshort sleeved to a long sleeve frock.

 i was testing a new pattern, so a bit of an experiment, the price is slightly reduced.

 Features:

 *Drawstrings at the neck  regulate the bust fit.

* Lovelt light weight silk

*ruffles at the hem of the skirt

*decoration in expensive French braid on the underbust, sleeve cuffs and on the ruffles

* silk covered buttons at the back. and a hook and bat at the waistband

*  short sleeves with a drawstring to regulate the fit,

* modern finish inside

* long undersleeves, detachable

* underbust  34" (86cm)

* back width 14.5" (37cm)

* chest - generous, regulated by a drawstring

* total length of skirt in front, from the waistband down is 47" (120cm)

* complete gown length in front 57" (146cm)

* short sleeve cuff 15" (38cm)

 Will look best on  UK size 10-14 , here shown on a model size12( UK), height 169cm ( 5'7"),  good fit!
